I began as an apprentice in Te Aroha, after a 4 year apprentiship I continued my employment for another 5 years, I then took the plunge and went out on my own. After a couple of years I thought I should go overseas for a bit, spent 18months as a security guard in the U.K. Once home again spent 4 years helping my mother in a local dairy and part time plastering where I found a new enjoyment for it and went back full time self-employed plastering, now based in Matamata
